Bariatric Psychology

Odin & Associates works with a number of bariatric surgeons to facilitate pre-surgery screenings.  These screenings comply with the psychosocial component required as part of the pre surgery screening process.  Additional services include pre surgery workshops, individual and group supportive psychotherapy for bariatric patients.

Empathic experienced Licensed Clinical Social Workers meet with candidates for the surgery to discuss issues ranging from motivation to historic stressors to practiced coping skills and present a written report to the surgeons.
